Philanthropy

Nearly 300 philanthropists attended this benefit which raised funds for nine arts, science, history and cultural centers on the Prado in Balboa Park, as well as the educational initiative Bucks4Buses, which brings K-12 schoolchildren to Balboa Park for field trip experiences.

Dr. Jacqueline Denysiak is a committed Patron of the Prado since 2020. Elected President 2024-2025. Dr. Barbara Denysiak joined in 2024. Patrons of the Prado is committed to raising funds to benefit nine arts and science institutions on the Prado in Balboa Park, and for the programs that provide educational access for San Diego school children to the world-class treasures of Balboa Park, inspiring cultural fluency for future generations.

Both Dr. Barbara and Dr. Jacqueline Denysiak have big hearts for organizations with great causes.
